Nicki Minaj curses out Mariah Carey during the American Idol Auditions



Ish just got real on the "American Idol" set.  Remember those rumors of beef between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey?  The ones MiMi tried to blow off?  Well they're very real--and now there's video proof below...

And if you're thinking this was all a publicity stunt, think again.  Reportedly, producers stepped in because this was not how far they wanted this to go.  And they are now scared at how Nicki & MiMi's relationship will affect the completion of the rest of the season.

Oooh well sooner or later they'll kiss and make up. I really doubt if this will go on for very long.

Music & Politics: Barack Obama responds to Nicki Minaj's Line about Mitt Romney



You might have heard the hoopla over Nicki Minaj's "I'm a Republican voting for Mitt Romney" verse on Lil Wayne's "Mercy" track - and apparently so did Barack Obama!

President Obama told an Orlando radio show that he is unsure if Nicki Minaj will really be voting for Mitt Romney in November. Clearly, the cool as a cucumber Prez isn't taking the Head Barb too seriously. 

According to RealClearPolitics, the President said: 

"I'm not sure that is actually what happened. I think she had a song on there, a little rap that said that. But, she likes to play different characters. So I don't know what's going on there."
